Honda’s CBR600RR came out in the early 2000’s specifically to rule Supersport and it did a great job. With a chassis designed to work as near a GP 250 as possible and a strong motor they are still fast now. Bikes of that time missed out on the benefits of slipper clutches however and we can now improve its corner entry performance and stability and combine that with more grip.
The clutch uses standard springs (preferably new) and either the standard clutch pack or 2.0mm steel plates and an extra friction plate, this increases the ability of the clutch to handle higher power outputs. This latest version is 200 Grams lighter than the original. This version of the clutch is supplied with springs and a complete set of 2.0mm steels and an additional friction plate clutch pack.
The clutch provides all the normal slipper clutch benefits with better over-rev protection and improved chassis stability going into corners.
